NEC strengthens its POS terminal business in the UK by partnering with Varlink

London, 27 September, 2012 - NEC Europe Ltd. strengthens its point of sales (POS) terminal business by partnering with Varlink, a leading UK distributor of IT products. Through Varlink’s nationwide sales channel, NEC and Varlink aim to sell 10,000 “TWINPOS G series” POS terminals to retailers in the UK within the next three years. The POS terminals will be available through EPoS Distributor, the retail products sales division of Varlink.

 

NEC’s TWINPOS G series can reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for customers through its exceptional serviceability, reliability and low power consumption. Parts of the terminal can be replaced without the need for tools or specialised maintenance staff, resulting in reduction of the time required for onsite part replacement. Strict quality control and component screening result in high quality and reliability.
