By moving inactive data to NEC HYDRAstor, different backup policies can be established taking into account the age of the data. Moreover, thanks to its inline global deduplication, NEC’s HYDRAstor can also perform daily backup and restore, but in a fraction of the time compared to other storage solutions in the market. “We are experiencing strong interest from many industry sectors for our HYDRAstor solution, and I expect that at IBC it will be one of the highlights catching attention and addressing the needs of the broadcasting industry", Naderi concludes.
