NEC showcases solutions to realise Safer, and Smarter Cities at 22nd European Police Congress
London, UK - February 12, 2019 - NEC Europe Ltd. today announced its participation in 22nd European Police Congress from 19th to 20th February, at Berlin Congress Centre, in Berlin, Germany. The event is an international congress where decisions makers from police forces, security authorities, and industries from more than 20 countries participate to discuss current issues and the latest development of technologies in the security sector.
At this congress, NEC will showcase its latest solutions which realise safer and smarter cities, including the actual case studies of biometrics solutions from around the world, and Public Safety LTE (PS-LTE) solution, a broadband wireless communications systems for public safety agencies which enables new applications such as information-sharing via image transmission and anomaly detection via sensing, etc.
NEC will also join a panel session, “Intelligent video analysis as a tool for the police (2G)”, where Mr. Michael O’Connell, Vice President and Executive Advisor Government and Public Safety will participate as a panelist.
