London, April 1, 2020 – NEC Europe Ltd. announced the appointment of Chris Jackson as President and CEO effective from 1st April. As the first European head for NEC Europe, Mr. Jackson will lead the growth of NEC Europe’s business across a broad range of customers within its key business areas such as Telecom Carrier Solutions, Enterprise Solutions and High Performance Computer Solutions.

Since joining NEC in 2008, Mr. Jackson has held various European management positions in sales, business development and operations most recently leading its European Carrier Solutions business. This management change further reinforces NEC’s strong commitment to the European market.

Commenting on his new role Mr. Jackson said “I am privileged and excited to be appointed the first European President and CEO of NEC Europe. In this fast changing digital and connected world I look forward to helping NEC bring new and innovative solutions to our diverse customer base across the region.

The European market is clearly very competitive, however, new technologies such as 5G and increased reliance on connectivity will always offer exciting opportunities for those companies passionate and driven to take advantage.
